In September 1946, a bulldozer grading a cinder road in a wooded area for a new housing development along Marlboro road in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, uncovered a shallow grave containing a bullet-ridden skeleton of an individual who was believed to have been former boxer Jimmy Muche, who had mysteriously disappeared some nine years earlier in Youngstown, Ohio. [1] [2]

The Jungle Inn (where Muche had last been seen in 1937) was once a notorious and illegal, but posh, roadhouse and gambling casino just outside of Youngstown, in Trumbull County, Ohio. It had been a brothel, opening during the 1930s. It closed down in 1949. The Jungle Inn reportedly was operated by Cleveland mob boss Moe Dalitz. [3] Dean Martin once worked there as a dealer, roulette stickman and croupier. (Source?)
