"Robertson was credited with his 20th straight win and 12th KO when Referee George Latka halted the bout as the 137 pound Cruz was draped helpless on the ropes in the 4th round. Cruz, former lightweight champion of Mexico, was dropped by sharp left hooks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds but came back after taking mandatory eight counts.
