"Joe Miceli, 147, of New York, gained his second victory over Wallace (Bud) Smith, 140 1/2, of Cincinnati, Saturday night in a 10 round fight. Miceli won the return match by a close margin, getting the nod from two out of the three judges. Smith partly immobilized Miceli's powerful left by working on his heavier opponent's mid-section, slowing the New Yorker down somewhat in the late rounds. There Smith stumbled to the canvas in the 7th after missing a wild right. Both boxers suffered minor cuts." -United Press
