Joey Giardello 155 lbs beat Harold Green 161 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

"Middleweight contender Joey Giardello, 155 3/4, of Philadelphia gained revenge tonight by winning a lopsided 10 round decision over veteran Harold Green, 161, of Brooklyn before 1,505 in their return bout at Brooklyn's Eastern Parkway Arena. Giardello won in such one-sided fashion that judge Charley Shortell gave him all 10 rounds. Joey bruised his right hand severely in the 6th round but nevertheless used it effectively on a few rare occasions thereafter. Green suffered two gashes in his left brow and a swollen left cheek. Giardello suffered a mouse under his left eye in the 3rd and a slight cut at the corner of the left optic in the 10th session." -United Press
