John Kilpatrick & Primo Carnera: 20 January 1934
John Reed Kilpatrick became President of the Madison Square Garden Corporation of New York City circa August 1933. He had been a colonel decorated for bravery during World War I. In 1909 and 1910, as a highly-talented football end at Yale University, he had been on Walter Camp's All-American Elevens. Source: 16 August 1933 Brooklyn Daily Eagle, p. 20
