- A man charged with stabbing another man to death at a Sydney public housing block is suffering injuries himself and was unable to appear in court.
- Craig Charles Pitts, 28, suffered a large wound to his hand and did not appear when his matter came before Central Local Court on Wednesday.
- Police charged him with the stabbing murder of John Marceta, 38, who was found dead about 12.30pm (AEST) on Tuesday in the hallway of a public housing block in the inner suburb of Redfern.
