Per the June 25, 1925 Tacoma News Tribune (Tacoma, WA, USA), Johnny Vito (Veto) was a Pacific Coast boxer. He allegedly became a liquor hijacker. He was found murdered June 24, 1925 in the North End District of Braintree, MA, with four bullet wounds. One had pierced his heart.
