Johnny Bratton, former world welterweight champion, knocked out Bobby Rosado of New York with a succession of hard lefts and rights in the eighth round of their scheduled 10 round bout. Bratton broke up what had been a fairly even fight with a left to the heart and a short right to Rosado's jaw.
