Unbeaten middleweight hope from Oslo, Johnny Romsaas had a rematch with his old conqueror from the amateur ranks, Erik Jorgensen of Denmark. With a high tight guard, Romsaas was hardly hit in this 6-rounder which resembled a prolonged amateur bout. Jorgensen took punishment in the 2nd,3rd and 5th rounds, but recovered and was never in danger. Verdict in favour of Romsaas was not controversial.
