• This was a cruiserweight rematch of a decision bout previously won by Schneider, 'The Fighting Marine'. In a minor upset, Moore, 5-3-1, defeated Schneider, now 7-2-1. The first round was highly competitive and featured alot of heated exchanges. In the second, Moore suddenly began landing right and left hand combinations and power punches to the head, and Schneider dropped his hands and went reeling off the ropes. Another barrage from Moore sent Schneider to the canvas knocked out on his back. Moore was battering his opponent so badly at that point that when Schneider started to fall, the referee stopped the bout without a count. Schneider was out cold.
