Johnny Williams was the former British and Empire Heavyweight boxing champion. He was born in Barmouth, Wales, on Christmas Day 1926, and turned professional boxer in 1946. He retired from professional boxing in 1960 with over 60 victories and 38 KOs, as well as 4 draws and eleven losses.

After leaving boxing, he found a new life farming with his wife and daughter.
