    • Finnish newcomer in heavyweight Raimo Nisula faced the tough German Jurgen Blin after only one fight. Blin had already been in the ring with Ray Patterson (L PTS 6 ) and Wim Snoek (W TKO 6 ).

    Blin swarmed all over the Finn through this 6 rounder. Nisula tried to box clean but found it hard against the windmill style of Blin.

    The draw verdict reflected that Blin had been the aggressor while Nisula had the best style.
