Ken Brady was a standout in the early part of the 1950's, in Australian Heavyweight circles.
Brady, an English migrant, who had been resident in Australia for sometime, provided a bit of fresh air in the division when he gained the victors laurel over Reg Mack in 1953, in their clash for the Vacant Heavyweight Championship of Australia.
Brady had some talent, and showed he was a fair hand at the boxing game, recording good wins over, Don Mullett, Cec Meredith and Kitione Lave, twice, before finally loosing his hold on the crown to Allen Williams in 1955.
