Fred Apostoli 160 lbs drew with Ken Overlin 166 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10

"Ken Overlin and Fred Apostoli, both former middleweight champions, battled to a draw last night in a rough 10 round bout before an estimated crowd of 7,000. Overlin, who defeated Apostoli the only other time the two boxers have ever met, piled up points with his famous left jab and was the more clever boxer throughout. Apostoli, noted for his punching, had Overlin in bad condition in the 7th round, but Ken came back fighting with both hands as the bell sounded. Apostoli tried desperately for a knockout in the closing rounds and was the aggressor through most of the battle. Overlin suffered a slight cut under his right eye, but it didn't seem to bother him much. Apostoli came out without a scratch." -Associated Press
