Reynolds came forward behind his jab while Dearmin fought back in spots. Dearmin, who took the fight on quick notice, began to tire by round 2 as the larger Reynolds continued to press. Dearmin was down in round 3 from a right hook-left hand and fell forward on a delayed reaction. Dearmin's corner would stop the fight as their wobbly fighter made it to his feet.
