Hernandez piled up points in the first three rounds. In the 4th round, Azteca hit Hernandez with a left hook that hurt Hernandez. From that point on, it appeared it was only a matter of time until Hernandez would be stopped. In the 7th round, Azteca landed a left hook to the jaw of Hernandez in the middle of the ring. Hernandez wrapped his hands around Azteca to prevent himself from falling. Azteca shook loose and landed another left hook, that dropped Hernandez for the full count.
