Kid Gavilan 151 lbs beat Laurent Dauthuille 155 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

"While the decision was unanimous it was also close and was not a popular one with the pro-Dauthuille crowd. There was no knockdowns and neither fighter was in serious trouble during the fight. Gavilan’s speed and ring savvy proved the difference. He employed a whipping left hook and a long-range bolo punch to gain an edge in the opening rounds, outpunched Dauthuille in the sixth by a good margin and counter-punched his way to win in the last two sessions."
