Lakewood Park was an 88-acre park in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania which operated from 1916 until 1984. Within the parks confines there was an amusement park with rides, bathhouses, boating, and areas for picnicing. The park also contained an outdoor arena that staged outdoor concerts as well as outdoor boxing during the summers. The park also contained the Lakewood Park Ballroom, which was also used as an indoor venue for boxing.
