“There were no knockdowns but Dauthuille was the aggressor from start to finish. On the whole it was a mild battle and only in the eight and ninth rounds did Dauthuille have Horne in danger of being knockout out. Laurent pounded him with solid blows to the head in the eight and staggered him twice in the ninth but was unable to follow up for the payoff blow. All three judges awarded nine rounds to Dauthuille and one to Horne.”
