It is believed that Lee Walker was born in 1937. However, in an August 11, 1976 article in the Miami Herald, Walker was listed as 43, making him born in 1933.

Walker was a Miami Beach, Florida, club-fighter noted for using various first names during his career. He fought as Walter Walker, Eddie Walker, Johnny Walker, Buddy Walker, Al Walker, and his own name of Lee Walker. Some sources claim his birth name is Walter Lee Walker.

Walker claims to have started his professional boxing career in the 1950s and said he had his last fight at age 52 in 1989. The Miami Herald said that Walker made his professional boxing debut in 1951.

Walker had a very muscular physique; during the 1970s he worked as a bouncer at various night-clubs on Miami Beach. Later he worked in construction and at a South Beach pizza shop. He has seven children and was married six times.

As of December 2014, Walker still lives in Miami Beach and still works in the construction business.
