Name: Leo Leavitt
Hometown: USA
Promoter: Record
Leo Leavitt was an American boxing promoter. It was generally believed that Leavitt was the owner of popular Filipino boxer Little Dado, though Tony Roberts was officially listed as Dado's manager.
Leavitt sold his promotional intersts to Joe Waterman on March 23, 1939. He had been ordered by his doctor to discontinue his promoting activities in the area, as he was suffering a nervous breakdown. Leavitt moved to Honolulu in 1941, after bringing Dado to the Islands, and was Honolulu's top promoter along with Augie Curtis during this time.
In 1969 Leavitt was managing popular Bay Area Middleweight Jimmy Lester.
