Lenhart, a southpaw/switch hitter, opened the bout in an orthodox stance. Lenhart had a good first round, as it appeared that Lomski was measuring his foe. In the 2nd round, Lomski rushed Lenhart to the ropes, where he landed a left hook to the heart and another to the jaw, which floored Lenhart for the ten-count.
