Leonard Sanducci

Amateur boxer Leonard Sanducci, 18, of McAdoo, PA, died from a severed windpipe when he was knocked out in the second round by Young Chaney of Harleigh in the American A.C., Hazelton, PA, May 5, 1922. It was thought that the fatal injury was received when his chin struck the floor following the KO punch. He died at the Hazelton hospital shortly thereafter. Chaney faced manslaughter charges.
