Watts came forward winging punches, but McGuinness took advantage of his opponents style with the straighter punches. McGuinness backed up Watts with an overhand right, and dropped him with a hook. Watts was up quickly, but three consecutive right hands had Watts hurt and falling into the ropes. Watts' corner threw in the towel once a wobbly Watts made it to his feet.
