Career
- Parra, a World Boxing Association world flyweight champion from 2003 to 2005, lost his WBA title after 15 months inactivity in 2007 and was unable to make weight.
- A World boxing Association super bantamweight world title challenger in 2008 and 2011, who also drew in a 2010 WBO super bantamweight world title eliminator, then got kmocked out by to former world bantamweight champion Jorge Arce.
- Parra's career never recovered from the Arce loss. Parra then moved up in weight and was unable to win in the lightweight and welterweight weight classes, a situation wich occurred when Parra was unable to make weight in the lower weight classes.
