Rodriguez staggered Bethea in the 6th round and cut his younger opponent over the right eye. Rodriguez continued to carry the fight to Bethea the rest of the way, and in the 10th round he had the New Yorker on the verge of a knockout three separate times but was unable to floor him." -Associated Press
