Under local rules, in fights of 8 rounds or more a judges' card was considered even unless a fighter had an advantage of at least 3 points. For fights up to 6 rounds, this was 2 points. Despite Molina having the required advantage, the fight was declared a draw. Rogel had appeared to be an easy winner, however.
