Bout Summary

Rodriguez landed some solid right hands in the opening round and perhaps even won the round, but Mago came on and dominated Round 2. Abdusalamov hurt Rodriguez with a left hand and threw a barrage that sent Rodriguez, who was against the ropes and appeared suddenly to be out of gas, down and out. Without beginning a count, the referee waved an end to the bout.
