"Mando Ramos, 133, called 'Wonder Boy' and the 'New Golden Boy,' dropped the transplanted Englishman, Allen Syers, 133, three times enroute to a clean-cut knockout victory in the 5th round at the Olympic Auditorium. Syers managed to stun Ramos in the 5th with a roundhouse right to the chin. Mando came roaring back to floor Syers twice with body punches doing the damage.
