- Originally scheduled to take place on March 29, the fight was cancelled after Huck broke his right thumb in a sparring session. On July 4, it was officially announced that the bout was rescheduled for August 30.[2][3]
- First bout for Larghetti outside of his native Italy and sixth against a fighter with a winning record.
