Bout Summary
In his most explosive and impressive showing to date, Marcus Oliveria took his opponent, debuting Bertis "Mac Daddy" McMillan out in only 25 seconds of the very first round.
The real fight began when some of the pre-fight hype included McMillan calling Oliveria out and promising a "beat down." It was a move that only seemed to motivate Oliveria more in his pre-fight preparation and spelled the beginning of the end for "Mac Daddy."
To make matters worse, Oliveria was irritated even more when McMillan met him at center ring, during the pre-fight instructions, with a smile. Regardless of whether that smile was meant to be a show of good sportsmanship or a blatant sign of disrespect, it was quickly erased when Oliveria met McMillan at the sound of the opening bell with an amazing display of power and speed. Oliveria started strong behind the jab and followed up with a decisive right hand to the body, followed up with a right hand to the head that deposited McMillan on the canvas. Although he beat the count, "Mac Daddy" McMillan looked like he was stepping in potholes and had no clue of where he was. The referee intelligently stopped the fight and raised Oliveria's career record to 6-0 with 6 KOs. - Info from ubcboxing.com
