Although Plotinsky had a relatively short career he did manage to win the Argentinian LightHeavyweight Title in October of 2008 and probably in his most impressive performance defeated Thomas Ulrich by KO in the eleventh round in March of 2009 to win the WBO Continental LightHeavyweight Title. Plotinsky then got a shot at the WBO World LightHeavyweight title, but was stopped in the fifth rd. by the champion Juergen Braehmer. Plotinsky was forced to retire due to a dangerous neck injury shortly after this fight.
