Mark Krence is known as the "Boxing Butcher". He is best known for fighting twice for a British title. His first British title challenge came against Matt Skelton, with him losing on a 7th round retirement. His second chance came against Scott Gammer, in which he was stopped in the ninth. Krence is currently the English heavyweight champion, winning that title by outboxing John McDermott. He has also been Midlands champion and a British eliminator title challenger, as well as twice challenging Luke Simpkin for the Midlands title.
