Marzo Fernandez and his brother Manolo Fernandez were club fighters who became trainers-managers and gym owners. For decades they ran one of the three busiest gyms in Cuba, training or booking hundreds of fighters. Marzo was very linked to the Dundee brothers in Florida, often booking Cuban fighters in Florida and Florida fighters in Cuba during the 1940's and 1950's.
