"Amores charged like a bull as the 5th round opened, but began missing with wild, long overhand rights, and Ohba, fighting carefully, punished the challenger with hard lefts and rights to the face and body. Ohba's punches sent Amores against the ropes for support but he was unable to get away. The end came at 2:00 of the 5th round in a fight which was a slashing two-fisted encounter all the way." -United Press International
