    This bout, held in Butte's famous Broadway Theater, was the preliminary for the Joe Walcott vs. Mose LaFontise match same night. Thompson and Webster were scheduled for 10 rounds but at the final bell referee Duncan McDonald was unable to decide a winner, and so told the men to go an extra round. Even so, the decision was still a "draw."--Butte (Mont.) Miner.
