Fox landed about a third as many blows as Rosenbloom, but his were more telling, and he pressed the fight. Rosenbloom was knocked down for no count in the 4th by a right hand, while the two were wrestling in a clinch. Fox disdained any form of defense against Rosenbloom, but loafed enough in the bout to get booed. Information taken from report in the Spokesman-Review, which felt Rosenbloom may have been robbed. The Spokane Chronicle and Spokane Press, felt Fox won decisively.
