Bout Summary
Katsidis knocked Amonsot down once in the second and once in the tenth round. Following the second round knockdown, Amonsot began to pace and fight with his jab in a way that controlled the middle ground and sent Katsidis back to his stool with a cut on his left eye that would gush blood for the entirety of the fight. He faced a situation where some of the damage on his face came from punches while some came from head butts. The situation was that Nady could stop the fight on any number of cuts and create a different outcome. Katsidis began rolling for the knockout, throwing a high volume of punches in an effort to control the momentum.
