• Nee controlled the range of the fight, landing punches from the outside behind his jab. The shorter Walton was mostly inactive and spent the majority of the fight at the end of Nee's punches, but did have some success in the final round by lunging in with a few punches.
• Walton was down in round 2 from a left hook but did not appear to be hurt.
