"Miguel Berrios, Puerto Rico, won the votes of all three officials Friday night at MSG as he staged a rousing finish after piling up an early lead on Kid Anahuac of Mexico City. When Anahuac switched to a southpaw style in the 8th, he claimed he had injured his right hand. It took Berrios two rounds to solve the new style but he raked the Mexican with everything in the 10th. Although the unanimous verdict for the nationally televised fight drew a mixed reception from the crowd of about 2,000, Berrios had a definite edge on the official cards." -Associated Press
