It has been possible to verify nearly all of the fights in Post's record from newspaper reported in the Rochester Herald, the Buffalo Boxing Record, Pittsburgh Post, and other contemporary publications (but see below).

Conroy's record was not published in any record book. It did appear in THE RING, December 1946, page 39. That record is the same as the one shown here, with deletion of Conroy's amateur fights (not differentiated in THE RING but clearly indicated by Post), and a few corrections based on newspaper searches.
