  • The fight - scheduled for 10 rounds - was called to a halt in round 8 when the fighters tangled, Hernandez injured his right foot and was unable to continue.
  • As Gavronski was ahead on two of the three scorecards at the time of stoppage, the fight was originally announced as a TKO8 win for Gavronski. However, it was changed by the commission to a "No Contest" on June 6, 2018.
