The twin brother of Red Warren, Mog Warren was the starting quarterback for the 1932 Spanish Fork High School football team (according to the October 21, 1932 Salt Lake Tribune), as well as a forward and captain of the 1932-33 basketball team (December 27, 1932, Salt Lake Tribune). Warren later attended Utah State University, on scholarship majoring in forestry. During World War II he worked as a civilian for the Navy in San Francisco. In 1946, Warren moved to Springville, Utah where he remained for the rest of his life. Warren served 12 years as a state legislator in Utah and was voted in as the Majority Whip and Floor Leader
