Jack Johnson of Curacao returned to Oslo and showed the same KO-power and tactics which had finished Norwegian middle hope Roy Askvold in December 1966. This time Johnson took on Syrian trial horse Mohamed Sahib. After 1 minute, the Syrian was hit by a hard right,rolled over the canvas and was up at 9. Johnson attacked and for 1 minute Sahib was resting on the ropes taking hard punches without reply. Referee Frithjof Hansen stopped the fight.
