Navy Bound

• Plot (from IMDb.com): Joe Morelli, boxing champion of the U. S. Navy fleet, is being mustered out, against the wishes of his pals and the Commander. Going home, he finds his father, a fishing-boat operator, in financial difficulties, and his foster-brother endangering the the parental fortunes with his estrangements of fishing crews and shore associates. Further complications arise, including their rivalry for Lisa, lead to a situation in which Joe unwillingly agrees to fight a professional-boxer in a winner-take-all bout. Adapted from the Collier's Magazine story of the same title, by Talbert Joselyn.
