Notes
- Lewis hurt Booth with a body shot in round 7, who then in turn landed his own left to the ribs which sent the challenger down. Booth clipped Lewis on the head as he fell, but it was really the force of the first punch which ensured the knockdown.
- Lewis managed to pull himself up, but referee Ritchie Davies took a good look at the challenger before deciding the fight had to end after two minutes 35 seconds of the seventh.
