Nshan Munchyan (born: June 24, 1963 in Yerevan, Armenia) is a former Armenian amateur boxer for the Soviet Union, and later Armenia. He started boxing in Armenia in 1976. Munchyan won the World amateur championship in the Light flyweight class in 1993. Munchyan was the European Light flyweight champion in 1987, and later participated in the 1996 Olympic games. He is married and has three children.
