This venue was mentioned in the Ring Magazine: April 1930, p. 56. It was then currently under construction, and was expected to open later that year. "It will be about the size of Madison Square Garden, with a swimming pool, ice rink, gymnasium, and, of course, a good-sized grill and bar. Until the completion of the new arena, promoter Jeff Dickson will conduct his big attractions in the Velodrome d'Hiver, and his weekly shows at the Salle Wagram."
