British veteran Pat McCormack made his 8th appearance in a Scandinavian ring. He had strong wins over Borge Krogh (twice) Jorgen Hansen and the Finn Erkki Meronen in a 41 fight career starting in 1968.
McCormack was quickly cornered by Hoydahl in the 1st round. He went down from hard series, got up but was floored again. The Danish referee Max Strangfeldt deceided he was too groggy to continue.
