- Killed in a Boston shootout in front of "My Place Lounge" in Boston, MA. According to the Police report, Raymond was ejected from the lounge by Manager and part owner Anthony Gioia and his bartender brother Angelo at 2:30 a.m., but went to his car, returned with a handgun and confronted the Gioia brothers outside the entrance. A shooting ensued. Paul Raymond and Anthony Gioia were killed and Angelo Gioia was wounded with a bullet to the hip.
